Wreath

No surprise, but I do like Pintrest- A LOT!

I saw this absolutely adorable wreath and thought, I can totally do something like that for my place.  After talking to a friend that is super crafty, she told me about a wire wreath base that has three spaces to "weave" the burlap (or ribbon if you like that) to make the wreath.

Because I cannot make a bow to save my life, my very creative Mom offered to make me a bow for the wreath.  Thank you Mom!

I love to paint- although never as me to try and free-hand something... that is out of my league. But I think I can do the dots on a solid color fairly well.  Of course I did a "J" seeing as how my name is Jacqueline.

I bought some cute red flowers from one of my favorite places to shop- Target!  (No matter how hard I try, I always walk out of there with something, usually not what I intended to get either.)
I have lots of red and greens in my living room- green is supposed to be calming.  Hot glued the flowers on the wreath and...

TA DA!

A very pretty wreath for my place.  It is on the inside of my place as burlap should not get wet.  If it does, it starts to smell.  So mine is inside because I do not have enough of an overhang by my door to keep the wreath from getting hit by the rain.

Baby Safari

One day I will be able to make baby stuff for my kids- but until then, I get make fun toys and such for family and friends who have babies!  I made a toy giraffe and play date blanket for a friend who had a baby boy.  He is now almost 1-year old and growing so fast!
